In 1962, Irv Kloska and Bonnie Kowrach stood in St. Adalbert's Basilica in Grand Rapids and pledged their lives to each other. More than 40 years and 13 children later, their family has grown to more than 70 members... and counting. With this blog we keep in touch and share our thoughts - much like we have always done around our kitchen table. But like our table, friends are always invited. Welcome!
Local Happenings: Please pray for this family
St. Monica parishoner Leo Roberts, 47, was killed yesterday while sledding with his four high school and college aged daughters. His wife, an ICU nurse at Memorial Hospital, was waiting for him when he arrived in the emergency room before he passed. (Click the headline for the story.) I can't even comprehend the sadness and tragedy of this event. Please pray for them.

We know not the hour...this is sad and yet God granted him time & peace with his family before taking him home. A gift, that.
