Please say a prayer for Bobby

So, Bobby's back in the hospital. I was waiting to post it, thinking maybe he or Margy would want to -but I think they've been busy. I heard it is up on their facebook, though, -so it must be public knowledge already. We've been getting phone calls.

Basically his platelets are way low -the normal range is 130-450,000 and he has 1,000. Blood platelets are what cause your blood to clot. The doctors are thinking this has been caused by a delayed reaction to his bone marrow transplant from me last year. If you remember, they had to kill all of his cells and replace them with mine. Well, BK's cells must have been lookin' for a fight -the doctors think that maybe one or two survived and it has taken 2 years for them to multiply exponentially enough to pick a fight with my cells. None of this is confirmed, since some of his tests can't be run until they have the platelets under control. I spent a great 2 1/2 hours with him up at the hospital this morning -his spirits are high and we had great bonding (just like the good 'ol days in Chicago). Please pray that this will be resolved as quickly as possible -I think his wife and children would appreciate him home and healthy for Christmas.

This is completely unacceptable, BK. Hospital visits during the month of December are just not allowed any more. Get better and get home NOW!

Prayers are coming just to be sure you're following orders.
