At Least We're Not These Guys

We've had a lot of rain. More today. More tomorrow. Maybe we'll get a reprieve Saturday. Interestingly, St. Isidore (the saint from earlier this week), is one of the patron saints for rain. OK St. Isidore, THAT'S GOOD! THANKS, THAT'S ENOUGH! Funny, I can't seem to find anyone listed as the patron saint of sunshine.
In 1962, Irv Kloska and Bonnie Kowrach stood in St. Adalbert's Basilica in Grand Rapids and pledged their lives to each other. More than 40 years and 13 children later, their family has grown to more than 70 members... and counting. With this blog we keep in touch and share our thoughts - much like we have always done around our kitchen table. But like our table, friends are always invited. Welcome!

hey lisa,
do you know what is funny? i've been reading your posts thinking they were bobby... you must have a similar writing style. it is so funny for me to go back now and figure out which ones were you and which were him... hmmm, we kloskas must be a lot alike... :)
Boy, riding your bike in the water sure sounds fun! Great way to cool off your feet at every turn of the petal...plus a little splash in your face while your ride....wheeee!
My children were complaining about all the rain the other day. I explained to them that the farmers could really use some rain. "Be patient," I finally told them, " God is merely answering the prayer of a farmer." Their response.....We thought He already answered their prayers with Daylight Savings Time.......... What I'm wondering is How do farmers rate?!?!?
Could be any Kloska sister since none of us are very happy about the stupid high school prank where everyone turns their watches forward and then pretends the actual time really changed.
