Yeah, I posted ahead a few days...

We are going to Margy's sister's horse farm all week so I thought I would get a little ahead. Don't expect any more posts until Monday. Pictured above is the whole family giving a witness talk at the Summer Conference. Having the whole family up on stage was a big hit. Check out the reaction from the crowd:

A significant photo for me...

This photo was the basis of a reflection I gave at the end of our summer conference. When this picture was taken, I was very aware of where Johnny was standing. I was thinking, "I wonder how God is working in his life." I was very happy to have him by my side and very hopeful for him.

While preparing for the conference, I would often go into the chapel and stand on the spot where Johnny stands in this photo and ask him to intercede to God for the success of the summer conference. I know Johnny would have greatly enjoyed the weekend.

If you haven't heard, the conference was a success.

Why Jeff and Joey should have volunteered to help at the conference this weekend...

At the conference this weekend, we met some Iraqui-American youth leaders who were Catholic, friendly and talented.

(By the way, that is Carolyn pictured in the background)
